Dealing w. Perseverance.

I was going through my blogs and I found this one, which blessed the depths of my soul. I decided to add it to my blog page in hopes that it touches you the very same way it just blessed me to keep the good fight of Faith!

Dealing w. Perseverance.

As I was laying at His feet, giving Him the petitions of my heart and
others, one particular petition I could not leave Him w. out knowing His
will. The funny thing is I had the audacity to demand Him to reveal His
will right at that very moment, so I wouldn't have to endure the pain
that it was causing (pertaining to the uncertainty). At first, there was
silence, but I knew He would answer me. I waited and then He spoke. "
My child, If I told you my will at this moment, I would not get the
Glory out of your Life or that situation".

***BLANK STARE***

Umm...God indirectly told me to wait! This was really rough for me. He
ever so kindly asked me to wait for His timing to reveal to me His will.
I admit, I was a bit upset by not knowing because I don't know about
you, but I am in a place where I need to know His will to assure I am
walking in His Purpose and not wasting my time or others. The good news
is that even when you do not know His will for that moment, you can
trust He knows the situation and He is in control. Just the fact that
God answered me gave me peace enough to endure and persevere. Yes, it
wasn't the answer I was looking for, but He did answer w. authority.
This is why 1 Thessalonians 5:17 is so important. We are commanded to
pray without ceasing. This means to pray your way through. There will be
situations that occur where you as a sold out believer will have to
pray your way through. However, there is peace in this one scripture,
Jeremiah 29:11-14. God has plans to give us a future and hope. So,
regardless that I may not know for certain a situation, whatever it is, I
know God has already planned it out for my good, His will and His
timing to give Him Glory!

I mean really...Who likes to persevere? Who likes uncertainty? Who likes
the idea of not knowing the outcome? Right! But there is a saying many
quote, and I reckon if they really know what they are indeed saying. " I
am not concerned about the how or when, as long as I know the who, His
name is Jesus!" When we say this, we are acknowledging that God is way
bigger than any problem we face. Come Hell and high water, God still is.
So just know that where there is uncertainty regarding a situation,
whether it be a relationship, a career change, a move, a business
venture, God is in control!

The amazing thing is while we persevere, we grow closer to God, we seek
His face in all things and we learn to trust His timing.

My prayer is that we understand the uniqueness in perseverance, which is
letting go & letting God.
